Job Details- Position: Registered Nurse
- Long Term Care (LTC) - Location: Charlevoix
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: 3x12
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $1900 to $2100
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor residents' health status
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Monitor and document changes in residents' conditions and communicate updates to physicians and family members
- Manage chronic conditions and provide preventive care interventions
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changes in resident status
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care
- Educate residents and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and care needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and quality care guidelines
- Active RN License in Michigan
- Minimum 2 years of recent Long Term Care nursing experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience caring for geriatric and medically complex residents preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and nursing documentation systems
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, resident-centered care
