Position Overview

As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our client by delivering personalized, high-quality care in a comfortable home environment.

Specialized Pediatric Care

7-Month-Old Baby Boy (CHARGE Syndrome):
This little guy has multiple congenital anomalies and requires a nurse with pediatric trach/vent experience. He has a beautiful first-floor setup in a very clean, pet-free home with amazing parents.

Shifts:

Wednesdays (9 PM – 9 AM) Saturdays (9 PM – 9 AM) and Sundays (6 AM – 4 PM).

Environment:
This home is pet-free.

Requirement:
Female Nurses Only per family request.

1-Year-Old Baby Boy:
This sweet baby boy has a trach, vent, and g-tube, with full-time shifts available in a clean, multi-generational, non-smoking home that includes two cats. Candidates must be female nurses with at least two years of pediatric trach experience to support this loving family while both parents work full-time.

Shifts:

Days (7 AM – 7 PM) and Nights (7 PM – 7 AM).

Availability:
Sunday through Saturday (All days available).

Environment:
This home has 2 cats.

Requirement:
Female Nurses Only with pediatric experience.

33-Year-Old Female:
This lovely one has a seizure history, requiring expert trach and ventilator management, who is a high fall risk and small for her age. This rewarding position emphasizes a slow, supportive approach, encouraging the client's independence while ensuring her safety, all within a loving home environment that includes her parents and three friendly, non-aggressive dogs.

Shifts:

Thursdays (7 PM – 7 AM).

Environment:
This home has 3 non-aggressive medium sized dogs.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care, including but not limited to tracheostomy care, ventilator management (if applicable), catheter care, wound care, medication administration, and bowel/bladder programs.

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as repositioning, transfers, and hygiene.

Monitor the patient's vital signs, symptoms, and overall well-being, reporting any concerns to the healthcare team.

Offer emotional support and companionship, ensuring a positive and comfortable environment.

Collaborate with family members, caregivers, and medical professionals to maintain continuity of care.

Qualifications

Licensed RN or LPN in the state of Michigan.

Experience in home health, private duty nursing, or long-term care preferred.
