• Review care plans with nurses at the start of each shift.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, bathing, and dressing.
• Respond to call lights and assess residents’ needs.
• Record vital signs and patient information.
• Turn and reposition residents for pressure relief.
• Communicate resident status and interventions to nursing staff.
• Provide customer service to visitors.
• Serve meals and assist residents with feeding.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and change linens as needed.
• Document patient data in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Michigan CNA Registry or completion of an approved Nurse Aide Training program with certification within four months of hire.
• Obtain BLS Certification within six months of hire and maintain it.
• Experience in long‑term care or geriatrics preferred.
• Patient Care Assistants may be considered during a temporary exception; pursuing CNA certification is encouraged.

• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to interpret data and communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Lift moderately heavy weights (up to 50 lbs) and assist with heavier tasks as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
