Description:
Performs duties assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established methods and procedures. Strives for superior performance by consistently providing a service that contributes to the patient and family experience. Recognizes and demonstrates understanding of patient and family-centered care. Attendance is crucial, with a policy in place that addresses tardiness and absences. Situations like communicable diseases or hospitalization will be reviewed with supporting evidence.
Under direct supervision and/or direction of the department manager, charge nurse, or staff nurse/team leader.
