About Bronson Commons:
Located in Mattawan, MI, Bronson Commons is a 100-bed facility specializing in short-term nursing care and therapy for adult patients. We are proud to have a five-star CMS rating and recognition from U.S. News & World Report as one of the "Best Nursing Homes."Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.Current Michigan CNA Registry or completion of an approved Nurse Aide Training program with certification within 4 months of hire.
Obtain BLS Certification within 6 months of hire and maintain it.
Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred.
PCAs may be considered during a temporary exception; pursuing CNA certification is encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:
Review care plans with nurses at the start of each shift.
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, bathing, and dressing.
Respond to call lights and assess residents' needs.
Record vital signs and patient information.
Turn and reposition residents for pressure relief.
Communicate resident status and interventions to nursing staff.
Provide customer service to visitors.
Serve meals and assist residents with feeding.
Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and change linens as needed.
Document patient data in the electronic medical record (EMR).Working Requirements:
Basic computer skills required.
Ability to interpret data and communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
Lift moderately heavy weights (up to 50 lbs) and assist with heavier tasks as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
