Aspirus Iron River Hospital in Iron River, MI is seeking a SUPERVISOR- NURSING to join our NURSING ADMINISTRATION team!

The Nursing Supervisor is a professional Registered Nurse who, under the direction of a manager or Director, assists with daily responsibility for the coordination, leadership and the development of personnel and operations. Assumes leadership responsibility in the manager or director's absence.

Experience/Qualifications
  • Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a nursing program.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • This position requires previous demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills, and a work record of collaborative working relationships.
  • Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.

  • Additional department specific competencies or certifications may be required (i.e ACLS).
  • Must have strong crisis management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Computer experience:
    Fluent in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Hours:

Full-time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per two weeks' pay period. Mainly day shifts, occasional night shift or weekend as needed.
