PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES NURSE - HOUGHTON LAKE

This is a professional position assigned within a variety of settings, including the interdisciplinary team. This position reports to the Nursing Supervisor, as assigned. This position has no direct supervision responsibilities.

• Assist with general Psychiatric Services/ Clinic nursing duties as needed
• Responsible for managing the Psychiatric Services Only (PSO) program. This will include the following:
  • Oversight and Case Management of this population
  • Keeping an up-to-date census of persons served within PSO
  • Requesting reauthorization when appropriate and making sure all authorizations are current
  • Linking, as appropriate, PSO persons served with primary care providers
  • Participate in the completion and documentation of assessments (IPOS, Nursing Assessment, BH-TEDS, LOCUS, AIMs, Consents, Financial Determination and Crisis plain, if indicated, etc.)
• Conduct nursing and health care appraisals
