Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Perioperative Nursing Opportunity

Provides high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgery, ensuring safety and adherence to medical standards. Collaborates effectively with surgical teams to facilitate smooth procedures and positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and surgical staff to prepare operating rooms and assist in procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Document surgical and patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical records system.
• Educate patients and their families about perioperative processes and post-surgical care.

Qualifications:

• Possess previous OR circulating experience in surgical nursing.
• Hold a valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedic, OB-GYN, and general surgical procedures.
• Prefer candidates with prior travel nursing experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively within surgical teams.
