Role Overview
Seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients in a structured hospital setting.
Seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients in a structured hospital setting. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and delivering full-time clinical services during day shifts. The clinician will handle an average of 18 patients per day and work alongside a support staff member, with prescriptive authority required. This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient psychiatric treatment within a dynamic environment.
Qualifications & Skills- Board Certification in Psychiatry or related field
- Active prescriptive authority
- Experience with adult inpatient psychiatric conditions
- Strong assessment and medication management skills
- Perform psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Manage medication regimens for adult patients
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure quality care
- Work in a structured inpatient environment during day shifts
