Unit Manager Registered Nurse

Ciena Healthcare is seeking a Unit Manager Registered Nurse to lead clinical care on a skilled nursing unit. In this role, you'll supervise nursing staff, coordinate resident care plans, manage admissions and discharges, and ensure regulatory compliance. You'll provide hands-on clinical oversight, mentor team members, and collaborate with physicians and families to support quality outcomes. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing staff on an assigned unit
• Coordinate and update resident care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Oversee admissions, discharges, and care transitions for residents
• Provide direct clinical oversight, including assessments and medication management
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations and policies
• Monitor quality indicators and implement improvement initiatives
• Educate, coach, and mentor nursing and support staff
• Communicate with residents and families regarding care and changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to support outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
