Position: CRNA Needed for Locum Coverage at Facility in Rochester, Michigan
Location: Sanford

seeks an experienced CRNA for locum coverage at a facility in Rochester, Michigan. In this role, you will provide comprehensive anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients, including pre-anesthesia assessment, development of anesthesia plans, administration of general and regional techniques, and post-anesthesia recovery management. You will collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff, adapt quickly to a new clinical environment, and maintain accurate documentation while following all clinical and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for surgical and procedural patients in a hospital/clinic setting
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, review histories, and develop anesthesia care plans
  • Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care; manage airways and hemodynamic status
  • Monitor patients intraoperatively and adjust anesthetic levels and medications as needed
  • Manage post-anesthesia recovery, assess complications, and ensure safe handoff of care
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and facility staff to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and adhere to facility and regulatory standards
  • Follow evidence-based practices, infection control, and safety protocols at all times
  • Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and workflows in a locum tenens role
  • Communicate clearly with patients and families about anesthesia plans and post-op expectations
