LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager to oversee daily nursing operations in a long-term care facility. Responsibilities Include

• Supervising licensed and non-licensed nursing staff, including evaluations, disciplinary actions, and coaching.
• Performing administrative tasks such as completing medical forms, reports, and charting.
• Maintaining quality assurance programs and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Coordinating nursing services to ensure seamless resident care.
• Making independent decisions and communicating effectively with staff, residents, families, and external agencies.
• Applying knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and regulations relevant to long-term care.
• Demonstrating leadership and supervisory skills in a healthcare setting.

• Current LPN license for the practice state.
• Experience in healthcare supervision preferred.
• Post-secondary education with the ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
