OpportunityRN - Med Surg
Job Details- 13-week contract with ASAP start date
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every weekend schedule required with every other holiday rotation
- Float to Emergency Department within competency required
- Can be low censused and placed on call; call back minimum is 2 hours
- 25-bed Med/Surg unit with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 days and 1:6 nights
- Provide general nursing care primarily for geriatric patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, and diabetes
- Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg experience required
- Emergency Department experience preferred but not required
- Strong charting experience with Epic EMR, Care Scape patient monitors, and Pyxis required
- Current Michigan RN license and AHA BLS required
- ACLS preferred but not required
- Associate Degree or Certificate required;
Bachelor's Degree preferred - Any colored scrubs permitted
- Candidates with both Med/Surg and ED experience are highly preferred
