Summary:
Beacon is a successful and national behavioral health company providing residential-based services and supports to children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Severe Mental Illness, Autism, and high-acuity behaviors.
What You'll Do:- Coordinate and oversee medical care for individuals with diverse healthcare needs
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as ordered
- Complete assessments and monitor ongoing health concerns
- Educate and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on medical care and equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and interdisciplinary teams Ensure compliance with state regulations and best practices
- Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention, and medical training initiatives
- Active RN license (2+ years of nursing experience preferred)
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
