American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/Postpartum (LDRP) position on night shift, requiring NRP, BLS, EFM certifications and 3 years of experience.

• Family Birthing Center unit (LDRP) within a 36-bed hospital serving the Western Upper Michigan Peninsula
• Unit includes 5 LDRP beds, 3 overflow beds, and 3 triage beds
• Patient population includes variety of low-high risk pregnancies and low volume SUD cases
• Staffing follows AWHONN ratios
• Equipment includes 1 main OR, epidural, nitrous, and Monica Novi wireless monitoring
• EHR systems used:
  Meditech and OBIX
• Night shift schedule (7p-7a)
• Weekend requirement of every third weekend
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS, EFM
• Minimum 3 years of Labor, Delivery and Postpartum experience required
• ADN required
• Candidate must be comfortable and experienced in L&D, Postpartum, and newborn care
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Facility is a verified Chest Pain Center via SCPC and a Level 3 Trauma center
• Maternal and Neonatal trauma level designated as Level I
• Scrub dress code allows any color but prohibits cartoon characters and blue jeans
• Must not have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
