We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Production Animal Veterinarian to join our team. This role focuses on herd health, preventative medicine, diagnostics, and client education, working closely with local producers to optimize animal health and farm productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical and surgical care to production animals, primarily dairy cattle, horses, and occasionally small animals
- Develop and implement herd health and preventative care programs
- Perform routine and emergency farm calls
- Conduct diagnostics, pregnancy checks, and reproductive services
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment protocols
- Build strong client relationships and offer consultative support to producers
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high‑quality, efficient care
- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Michigan
- Strong interest in production animal medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation

Demonstrate effective communication of diagnostic and therapeutic options to clients and internal medical and hospital staff - Professionalism:
