In this energetic role you will perform a wide range of maintenance, landscaping and construction tasks to ensure public facilities, parks and streets are safe, functional and visually appealing. Your hands-on skills and proactive approach will help keep our environment clean, safe and inviting for residents and visitors alike.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools and heavy machinery to perform landscaping, construction and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct lawn care activities including mowing, trimming and edging to maintain lush, healthy green spaces.
• Maintain public infrastructure by performing snow plowing during winter months and maintaining our water and sewer systems.
• Install walkways and other outdoor structures using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment operation such as lawn mowers, snow plows, excavators and power tools is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Must have excellent math skills and computer knowledge.
