About this role:

As a Lawn Care Technician, you'll be the face of Weed Man in the field, delivering professional lawn care services to both residential or commercial customers along your daily provided routes. This seasonal, full-time position (March-November) is ideal for motivated, customer-focused individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work, reliable to work on their own, and enjoy building relationships with customers.

You'll apply standard applications Weed Man offers, evaluate lawn health, and recommend solutions while providing exceptional customer service. Those who love the outdoors, working on your own, and have a clean driving record—this is perfect for you!

Responsibilities:

• Complete daily, assigned services for customer lawns
• Safely, meticulously, & accurately operate application equipment
• Evaluate lawn conditions & provide solutions
• Perform lawn measurements
• Communicate with customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Generate field sales when appropriate
• Maintain accurate service records and follow all state/company regulations
• Guarantee company vehicles, equipment, and materials are kept clean and organized
• Represent Weed Man with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset

Qualifications/Requirements:

• MUST have a valid Michigan driver license with a CLEAN driving record.
• State certification to spray herbicides
  • If NOT currently certified, must be able to obtain certification within 2 weeks of hire. Learning materials will be provided.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs for 8-10 hours a day
• Ability and willingness to work outdoor in various weather conditions for 8-10 hours a day
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic
• Strong customer service
• Proven time-management and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Positive attitude, high energy, reliable, and self-motivated
• Previous sales or industry experience is an asset, but NOT required
