Part Time & Full Time Available | FT Hours Are 3 Twelve Hour Shifts Per Week | Rotating Weekends & Holidays | Shift Bids Every 6 Months Compensation: $21-30/hr Dependent On Experience | $3/Hour Shift Differential (Hours Between 11pm & 7am)

Since opening in 2021 as the second location of our trusted veterinary care group (est. 1991), AESH Byron Center has continued to set the standard in emergency and specialty veterinary medicine. Our 10,000 sq. ft. hospital is open 24/7 and offers advanced care in Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology and Cardiology. Here, you'll play a critical role in providing gold-standard care.

In Your Day-To Day, You Will
- Assist veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, and treatments
- Strong technical skills; IVC placement, administering medications, and monitoring hospitalized patients
- Perform and monitor anesthesia (ECG, SpO₂, EtCO₂, NIBP)
- Provide surgical support and post-op care
- Handle and prepare lab samples; operate in-house diagnostics
- Accurately record histories and update medical records in the PIMS system (Ezy Vet)
- Maintain accurate and detailed communication logs, handle department voicemail, client callbacks, and documentation
- Educate and communicate with clients regarding their pet's condition, treatment plans, review of estimates, and follow-up care
- Maintain hospital cleanliness, follow safety protocols, and support inventory.
- Ability to learn advanced skills and use them to the fullest
- Ability to participate in clinical trials and as a result, be a part of improving medicine for pet health for the future
- Other duties as assigned by leadership
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in Michigan or eligible for Michigan license transfer.
- The ability to remain calm, think critically, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced emergency and critical care environment.

- Fluent English (spoken and written) is required; bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
