Snow Sports Host; Seasonal

SS Host/Attendant

The duty of the SS Host/Attendant is to set up and serve snacks and beverages to Ski School participants, either in the Backyard Station or in the Snow Sports Break Area. Hosts assist instructors with their students as needed and are responsible for the setup, maintenance, and cleanup of the assigned position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Set up break area for Snow Sports participants – snacks, water, hot chocolate.

Serve participants in the Backyard Station or in the Break Area.

Assist instructors in serving their participants.

Ensure the cleanliness of the area – remove trash.

Track inventory/supplies – request reorder before running out.

Interact with guests in a courteous, professional manner. Maintain positive relations with students, instructors, parents, visitors, and general public.

Provide superior service to our guests, both internal and external.

Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, respect, and professionalism at all times.

Attend all required training, safety and other meetings, required both by the department and company.

Be knowledgeable of the programs Crystal Mountain offers.

Know the safety procedures for missing or injured students and guests.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

Competencies:

Clear and concise verbal communication skills. Dependable and meets goals. Exemplifies professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values. Previous experience with children preferred.

Education:

High School or GED Equivalent

Physical & Other Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule. 1 st Aid & CPR Certification Required. Can be obtained once hired. Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration. Non-smoking candidates preferred.
