Part-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician Gibraltar Veterinary Hospital | Gibraltar, MI | Benefits Eligible

Are you a Licensed Veterinary Technician looking for a part-time opportunity with a team that values your skills?

Gibraltar Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced Part-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our collaborative veterinary team. If you enjoy providing high-quality patient care, working alongside veterinarians and fellow technicians, and being part of a supportive hospital environment, we’d love to meet you!

Part-time | 2–3 days per week with rotating Saturdays

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an LVT with 2–4 years of veterinary experience who is confident working in a busy hospital and ready to utilize their technical skills.

Must-have skills:

  • Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential
  • Proficient in venipuncture and IV catheter placement
  • Comfortable with patient restraint and low-stress handling
  • Strong knowledge of vaccination protocols and preventative care
  • Proficient in medication administration
    , including oral, injectable and subcutaneous medications
  • Comfortable collecting and processing laboratory samples
  • Familiar with in-house laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing
  • Able to monitor and communicate changes in patient condition
  • Strong understanding of normal canine and feline vital signs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
