Responsibilities

  • Undertake diagnostic procedures and interpret clinical findings

  • Support lameness, orthopaedic, and performance-related case management

  • Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance protocols
  • Provide clear client education and treatment recommendations

  • Collaborate with veterinary colleagues on complex cases

Candidate Profile

Applicants should hold a DVM, VMD, or equivalent recognised veterinary qualification and hold or be eligible to obtain the appropriate Michigan veterinary licence

Candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in equine veterinary medicine and be comfortable working across both ambulatory and hospital environments.

Previous equine practice experience is advantageous, although veterinarians earlier in their careers may also be considered where appropriate mentorship can support their development.
