Supplier Quality Engineer | Hart, MI

Salary Range: $76,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality management systems and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier-related quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define supplier quality requirements and specifications.
• Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics.
• Support new product development by qualifying new suppliers and components.
• Manage supplier non-conformances and drive timely resolution.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Proven ability to perform supplier audits and drive corrective actions.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
