Quality Technician | Spring Lake, MI
Salary Range: $46,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conforming materials or products.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
- Support production teams in identifying and resolving quality-related issues.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience in a manufacturing quality role
- Proficient in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification a plus).
- Proficiency in using Statistical Process Control (SPC) software.
- Experience with calibration of measurement equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
