Associate Chemist

Location: Fremont

Our client is seeking an Associate Chemist to join their team. As an Associate Chemist, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting laboratory operations and ensuring product safety and quality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform analytical testing on incoming goods, in-process samples, allergens, and finished products.

+ Support laboratory compliance systems and ensure analyses meet regulatory standards.

+ Manage chemical inventory, prepare reagents, standards, and dispose of chemicals properly.

+ Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.

+ Collaborate with production and other departments to provide laboratory support and training.

** What's Needed?*
* + Ability to perform routine laboratory analyses following standard procedures.

+ Strong documentation skills and attention to detail for data entry and reporting.

+ Knowledge of laboratory safety and compliance standards such as GLP and GMP.

+ Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

+ Willingness to support flexible work schedules, including 12-hour shifts.
