The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Ludington seeking experienced Quality Technicians. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of manufactured products.
- Perform root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Calibrate and maintain quality control measuring equipment.
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Provide training to production staff on quality standards and procedures.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED;
Associate's degree in a technical field preferred - 2+ years experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Demonstrated ability to use various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM)
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software.
- Certification in a recognized quality methodology (e.g., Six Sigma Yellow Belt, ASQ CQT).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Proficiency in using a CMM or other automated inspection equipment.
