Lab Technician

Lab Technicians are responsible for receiving, testing, analyzing, recording, reporting of test results and facility management.

Receiving, labeling, and safely storing samples to be tested.

Determining and performing tests needed for the analysis and report.

Recording tests and analyses and then reporting the results.

Discussing and answering any questions regarding the results.

Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample.

Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, including recalibration of equipment.

Maintaining equipment records and daily work logs.

Staying current on technical and scientific advances in their field.

Building prototype sample while NPD project including vacuuming, recharging refrigerant, adjusting expansion valve etc.

Proven experience as Lab Technician, HVAC installation experience or relevant position for more than 5 years preferred.

Experience in operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment and potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, biohazards etc.)

In knowledge of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) Systems, preventative measures, and laboratory best practices.

Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems.

Junior college Degree above in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or relevant field.
