Quality Technician – Photovoltaic (PV) Projects

We are seeking a Quality Technician to support on-site quality inspections and inspection release activities for utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) construction projects. The selected candidate will assist the Quality team in ensuring all installation work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements while maintaining accurate inspection records and documentation.

• Support on-site quality inspections throughout all phases of PV construction.
• Assist with inspection release activities and coordinate inspections with construction teams.
• Complete and maintain inspection documentation, including Points of Inspection (PPIs), checklists, and quality records.
• Ensure all field documentation is accurate, complete, and properly organized.
• Verify installations comply with project drawings, specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Perform dimensional and installation inspections using standard measuring and inspection tools.
• Identify and report non-conformities, deficiencies, or quality issues to the Quality Manager.
• Work closely with construction personnel to facilitate timely inspections and project progress.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all company Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.

• Technical education preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in quality inspection, construction, or photovoltaic (PV) projects preferred.
• Experience supporting utility-scale solar projects is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage inspection records.
• Proactive, dependable, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using common inspection and measuring tools, including:
• Tape Measure
• Inclinometer
• Torque Wrench
• Standard hand tools used during PV installation inspections

• Knowledge of quality control processes within construction or renewable energy projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with field personnel and quality teams.
