The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct first-article inspections and in-process checks according to established procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment as required.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, or a related technical field
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
• Demonstrated ability to use various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformances
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMM or other automated inspection equipment.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CMI, CQIA).
• Ability to interpret and apply GD&T principles.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
