Pay Range: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.
Schedule:
Full‑time; hours and days may vary. Details will be provided during the interview.
Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service, and cleanup of all functions. Prepares and serves food at scheduled events under the supervision of the Catering Director. May operate a service vehicle to deliver food and beverages to catering locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Determine workload requirements from catering orders.
- Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements, address last‑minute changes, and resolve issues.
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service‑oriented manner.
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items.
- Instruct staff on work expectations for catered functions.
- Help staff set up rooms to desired specifications.
- Assemble and deliver food and supplies to scheduled locations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
- Ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Valid driver’s license may be required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit as required by state law.
