Substitutes work on an on‑call, as‑needed basis with no guarantee of hours. Shifts fall between 7:30 a.m.

- 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Substitutes work between 2.5 and 6.5 hours per day.

• Prepare and serve nutritious and attractive meals.
• Assist with meal production as directed.
• Maintain and apply all safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards and practices in all food service areas as required by federal, state, local and district regulations and policies.
• Operate production equipment and dishwashing equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently, along with effective communication skills.
• Enjoys working with students and staff in a team environment.
• Problem‑solving and critical thinking.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Handle multiple tasks on time.
• Flexible in many different situations.
