Country Club Member Dining Room Chef - Detroit Suburbs

The Restaurant Chef will lead all culinary operations for the club’s à la carte restaurant, delivering a consistently exceptional dining experience for members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, food quality, presentation, and service execution.
• Develop creative, seasonal menus and specials that reflect member preferences and current culinary trends.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and lead the culinary team.
• Manage food and labor costs, inventory, purchasing, and departmental P&L.
• Maintain high standards for sanitation, safety, organization, and consistency.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage leadership and front-of-house teams to enhance the overall member experience.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and creative kitchen culture.

Qualifications

• Proven culinary leadership experience in an upscale restaurant, private club, hotel, or similar environment.
• Strong à la carte, menu development, staff leadership, and financial management skills.
• Creative, organized, and passionate about hospitality and member service.
