Ebels General Store in Reed City is looking for a part‑time Deli Associate to join our friendly, fast‑paced team. In this role, you’ll prepare, slice, wrap, weigh, label, price, and merchandise a variety of deli products, including meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, gourmet items, and hot case offerings. Deli Associates provide excellent customer service by sharing product knowledge, offering samples, and making recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.

You’ll operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and scales, while ensuring shelves and display cases remain clean, well‑stocked, and properly rotated.

Compensation for this position ranges from $14.00 to $17.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

• Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers and responding to questions
• Maintain Ebels' high standards for product freshness & sanitation
• Understand and follow FSIS guidelines regarding food safety
• Confidently sell product by providing customers with information needed to make product‑related decisions.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown equipment at the end of the day.
• Assist in other duties.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.
• Closing shift. Hours are typically 10:00am - 6:00pm or 11:00am - 7:00pm.
