Join our team as a Full-Time Counter person! We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused individual eager to grow in a fast-paced environment for our Thirlby Stores in Wellston Mi. This position offers hands‑on experience, professional growth opportunities and a chance to contribute to our mission of delivering top‑notch service every day. You will work closely with the Store manager to learn Assistant manager responsibilities.

This position was created to coach and train to the next level up. Looking for experience in automotive and leadership. This is a 6‑day work week. OT is guaranteed in the pay. Weekends are rotated.

• Be the face of our company by establishing positive experiences with every customer interaction.
• Conduct all activities using a customer‑focused perspective, always providing efficient and accurate expertise.
• Finalize sales using methods such as phone calls, in‑person communication, and more!
• Establish a deep knowledge of the parts and services we provide to our customers.
• Support our customers’ needs through always offering all product options to our customers and exemplifying our Never Say No values.
• Assist store personnel in maintaining a clean and organized store appearance.
• Contribute to the store’s daily operations by processing returns and assisting newer store personnel.

• 8‑hour shift, Monday‑Friday, Saturdays on rotation

• Previous 3 years of experience in automotive field.
• Customer focused with strong communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License (no major violations; no more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over 25, in the past 5 years if under 25; no more than one at‑fault accident).
• Must be able to comply with all physical requirements of the position including a pre‑employment physical and drug test.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with both arms.
