About the RoleAs part of the store leadership team, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive, customer-focused environment while helping coach and support the team around you. Working alongside the Store Manager, you’ll help lead by example, encourage growth within the store, and help develop tomorrow’s leaders.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where no two days are exactly alike. You’ll spend time connecting with customers, supporting store operations, mentoring team members, and helping keep the store running smoothly. If you enjoy building relationships, motivating others, and being part of a fast‑paced environment, this could be a great fit for you.
In this role, you will:
- Help coach, mentor, and support store team members
- Lead by example through excellent customer service
- Assist with hiring, training, and team development
- Handle cash and credit transactions
- Responsibly sell alcohol, tobacco, and lottery products
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Support store operations across a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- At least 18 years old
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of retail or related leadership experience preferred
- Someone who enjoys motivating others and setting a positive example
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, flexible, and comfortable working a variety of shifts
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
