This role is responsible for providing highly satisfactory service and assistance to guests; bagging groceries and providing carry‑out service to vehicles; retrieving carts from the parking area; performing bottle tasks; and janitorial duties as needed. The shift must contribute to the store’s financial best interests. All other duties are performed in a timely manner.

• Use proper bagging supplies and bagging techniques when handling guests’ purchases.
• Empty bottle bins, clean bottle machines, and maintain the bottle return area.
• Collect, return, clean, and organize shopping carts and load groceries into customers’ vehicles.
• Have familiarity with the location of products carried in the store.
• Handle spoiled or damaged products per established guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and well‑stocked department.
• Work independently of others.
• Perform cleaning duties and other assigned work in a timely manner.
• Follow all PPE and safety guidelines.
• Follow all food safety and cleaning expectations.
• Follow guest experience guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

• High school diploma (GED preferred).
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.

The employee is exposed to a typical retail store environment with varied temperatures and occasional outdoor weather conditions. The noise level is usually low to moderate. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
