Spartan Nash -  - Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day activities of department operations in a retail store, ensuring associates are trained and the department is fully staffed and meeting company goals and KPIs;
Order and maintain inventory, validate received orders for amount/quality/count/weight, and ensure proper storage and rotation for freshness and quality;
Manage a team responsible for stocking, production, and related tasks to ensure product quality and date-sensitive rotation;
Assist with scheduling, labor control, overtime control, and payroll expense for the department in collaboration with the department manager;
Participate in daily huddles and meetings, follow PPE and safety guidelines, and maintain a clean, well-stocked department
