Lead the day-to-day activities of the department operations in a retail store and ensure associates are trained and the department is fully staffed;
Manage inventory and use inventory control procedures to minimize loss and maintain product freshness and quality;
Review and validate received orders for amount, quality, count, or weight and ensure proper storage and rotation;
Schedule and supervise staff, assist in labor control and payroll expense management for the department;
Attend daily huddles and meetings and maintain a clean and well-stocked department while following food safety and safety guidelines
