• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers who love being on the water
• Guide customers through the boat-buying process — from first conversation to closing
• Match boats to customer needs, lifestyle, and budget
• Present and demonstrate boats, highlighting features and value
• Stay current on products, inventory, and market trends
• Follow up with prospective and existing customers to grow your book of business
• Handle sales documentation and keep accurate records using tools like Salesforce
• Represent Irish Boat Shop at boat shows, demos, and company events

• A people-person who naturally builds trust and puts customers at ease
• High energy, self-motivated, and comfortable working toward sales goals
• Confident communicator who can explain features, pricing, and options clearly
• Willing to learn — boating experience is helpful, but passion matters most
• Comfortable using basic technology (Word, Excel; Salesforce a plus)
• Physically able to move around boats, climb ladders, and lift up to 30 lbs
• Flexible availability, including six days a week during peak season and occasional Sundays
