Construction Equipment Sales Specialist

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a driven sales professional to join our Sales Team focusing on construction equipment sales. The ideal is a personable, reliable, and hardworking individual with a strong background in construction equipment, exceptional customer service skills, and the drive to seek out and build business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make in-person sales calls to customer sites
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Price equipment accurately and evaluate trade‑in values
  • Stay current on all new and used construction equipment
  • Develop and manage customer sales plans and forecasts
  • Maintain sales and customer information in CRM software
  • Understand and apply regional construction techniques in consultations
  • Oversee equipment delivery, setup, and operator training
  • Conduct equipment field demonstrations
  • Stay informed on financing products and options available to customers

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Must have a minimum 3 years of experience in construction equipment use and/or equipment sales

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Sales is preferred, but not required

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid math and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency with computerized sales tools and CRM software
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Deep understanding of regional construction practices and equipment applications

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to operate, mount/dismount, secure, and transport equipment safely
  • Frequent sitting, standing, squatting
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
