What does a Residential Home Salesperson do?As a Residential Home Salesperson, you’re the person families trust to help them buy or sell a home — one of the most significant transactions of their lives. You’ll represent buyers searching for their perfect property and sellers looking to get top dollar, guiding both sides from first conversation to closing day.
- Work with home buyers to identify the right properties and neighborhoods for their needs
- List and market residential properties to attract qualified buyers quickly
- Host showings, open houses, and walkthroughs that help buyers fall in love with a home
- Present and negotiate purchase offers to protect your clients’ interests
- Coordinate inspections, appraisals, and paperwork through to a successful closing
- Build lasting relationships that generate referrals and repeat home sale business
The requirements are straightforward.
- Be 18 years or older
- Willing to obtain a Michigan real estate salesperson license (we’ll guide you through every step)
- Complete Coldwell Banker Schmidt, Realtors residential sales training — fully provided at no cost to you
