Overview
As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you will lead end-to-end Area program development and clinical success for Monarch Surgical Technologies, including procedure sales, support, and driving utilization. You will hire, develop, and lead Account Managers and Clinical Specialists; manage and maintain your Business Plan; and lead/assist with territory business plans, product demonstrations, referral education, Business Review Program sessions, and post-installation adoption/utilization.
You will educate physicians and staff on product use.
- - Develop and execute quarterly business plans to meet procedure and disposable revenue targets.
- - Maintain a strategic, frequently updated territory business plan and support team execution.
- - Achieve growth and hit sales targets by managing the Account Manager/Clinical Specialist team.
- - Expand customer base and ensure strong presence in assigned geography.
- - Recruit, coach, and monitor performance of direct reports.
- - Build long-term customer relationships; understand customer needs and align solutions.
- - Provide sales/revenue/expense reports and forecasts to National Sales Director and sales leadership.
- - Share wins/strategies with peers and leadership.
- - Coordinate with Field Sales Territory Manager counterparts to maximize capital and procedure sales.
- - Support technical/clinical demonstrations and drive adoption.
- - Execute referral education activities.
- - Implement post-sales installation/adoption protocols with sales and service teams.
- - Support new customers’ clinical adoption and help customers achieve clinical/economic goals and utilization.
- - Maintain expert knowledge of Monarch products and market/industry trends.
- - Bachelor's degree and 4+ years Medical Device or related sales management/leadership.
- - Ability to learn and communicate technical product and clinical disease-state knowledge to physicians and economic buyers.
- - Travel up to 75% (overnight within territory).
- - Hospital/ASC presence; attend live patient cases as needed; wear required protective gear.
- - Self-starter; critical thinking and problem-solving in high-pressure environments.
- - Strong communication and daily high-frequency coordination with leadership.
- - Ability to work in a regulated environment (ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820).
