Ebels Hardware in Falmouth is looking for a Full-Time Outside Sales Representative to develop and maintain wholesale customer relationships throughout an assigned sales territory. This position sells company products to convenience stores, gas stations, grocery stores, specialty retailers, and other local or regional businesses. The Outside Sales Representative regularly visits existing and prospective customers, presents products and promotional opportunities, obtains orders, monitors product placement, and helps customers select products that fit their business.

This position is responsible for increasing sales, developing new accounts, maintaining accurate customer records, and representing the company professionally in the community. The ideal candidate is outgoing, dependable, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable building long-term business relationships. This individual must be able to work independently, manage a sales territory effectively, and provide responsive, honest, and dependable service.

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

• Previous sales, customer service, wholesale, retail, or account management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and meet sales and customer retention goals.
• Ability to take accurate customer orders, coordinate deliveries, merchandise products at customer locations, and provide professional customer service.
• Strong product knowledge and ability to recommend products, quantities, promotions, and merchandising strategies based on customer needs.
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills, including the ability to communicate professionally, build customer trust, prospect for new business, understand customer needs, and provide effective product and pricing recommendations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage multiple customers, orders, leads, follow-ups, and territory priorities while working independently and using sound judgment.
• Professionalism, dependability, and adaptability, with the ability to handle customer concerns and objections, communicate effectively with internal teams, and maintain a responsive, service-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently, manage an assigned territory, prioritize multiple accounts and opportunities, and follow through on customer needs.
• Ability to regularly travel within an assigned territory, make customer visits, and participate in trade shows, community events, and other company activities.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and ability to safely operate a company vehicle for customer visits, deliveries, and other business needs.
• Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, drive, bend, reach, and enter customer locations.
• Ability to lift and carry product samples, cases, displays, or sales materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to use computers, tablets, mobile phones, and other sales equipment and travel in varied weather and road conditions.
