Associate Chemist

Location: Fremont

Our client, a leading organization in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a dedicated Associate Chemist to join their team. As an Associate Chemist, you will be an integral part of the Laboratory Support team, contributing to quality assurance and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach, aligning successfully with the organization's commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Title: Associate Chemist

Location: Fremont, MI

Pay Range:$20.00 - $23.00/hour

What's the Job?

• Understand and implement all relevant laboratory compliance systems and procedures.
• Develop, validate, and implement new analytical methodologies to support quality and safety standards.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
• Interpret data trends, prepare reports, and communicate findings to support CAPA initiatives.
• Maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor repairs as needed.

What's Needed?

• Strong understanding of laboratory compliance systems and analytical testing methods.
• Experience with method validation, verification, and data analysis tools such as Excel or QStat.
• Ability to troubleshoot laboratory instruments and interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance.
