Position

Security Officer - Part-Time Factory in Coopersville, MI
. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and security-related protocols, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor building entry points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor sign-in and direction-giving consistent with post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete timely security-related reports, document patrol observations and incident details, and communicate shift updates to supervisors and/or incoming personnel.
Minimum Requirements
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
