Maintain highly visible foot and vehicle patrols to detect or deter fire, accidents, violations of hospital policies and criminal acts;
Document information on incident reports and other required documents in a thorough, factual and timely manner;
Provide access control for secured areas and assist with directions, escorts, and other requests for assistance;
Communicate with patients, visitors, and health care team members to share information as needed;
Manage verbal and physical conflicts using de-escalation and, when necessary, restraint techniques or other appropriate force options
