Securitas Security is looking to hire a full‑time security guard for a location in Canandaigua, NY. This is a long‑term temp position. Candidates should only apply if they are available to work Monday‑through‑Friday 08:30‑16:30. Candidates should have a reliable means of transport as public transport does not operate during the days/hours of the position. The person hired will need to travel to our Rochester, NY office for NYS Security Guard training if needed and will be required to attend Securitas orientation at the Rochester, NY office.
Responsibilities- Actively monitor premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
- Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
- Provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
- No experience necessary. Retail, food service or hospitality background is a strong fit.
- Availability Monday through Friday 08:30‑16:30.
- Reliable transportation.
