Electrician in Limerick​/Clare

We are currently looking for Qualified Electricians to operate in Co Limerick/Clare, to service various Public lighting projects.

• Ensuring that the public lighting project is delivered in accordance with agreed Specifications, Standards, Health and Safety Plans, Method Statements as laid down in the programme.
• Ensuring any changes in the public lighting project are brought to the attention of the Project Manager.
• Ensuring the public lighting project meets the client’s requirements.
• Ensure that a safe system of work is in place.
• Demonstrate appropriate knowledge and experience of the inspection, testing, certification, and reporting procedures for the work undertaken.
• Coordinate and implement repairs to public lighting faults as required.
• Survey and condition score public lighting infrastructure, recording results.
• Carry out duties in line with specific RAMS and JSSP’s.
• Complete on call roster as required.

• Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate
• Safe Pass
• Full Clean Driver’s licence both B&C

• Previous experience working as an Electrician, ideally on public lighting or new works projects.
• Experience of operation C Licence vehicles
• Experience of working at heights
• Safe Electric Qualified Certifier
• CSCS Signing Lighting and Guarding
• ESB Networks Experience
• Public Lighting Experience
• MEWP/Bucket Rescue
• CSCS LUGS Card
• Abrasive Wheel
• CSCS Scaffold Card
• HIAB Experience
• First Aid Training

• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
• Ability to route plan and organise your day effectively.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to operate systems (Deadsure, Proworks, TMS, etc)

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
