Essential Job Functions
  • Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to precise specifications.
  • Install structures, fixtures, and fittings, such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and furniture.
  • Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs.
  • Repair or replace damaged or worn‑out structures.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years’ experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle demanding tasks and lift heavy materials.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or apprenticeship is a plus.
