East Jordan Plastics is currently seeking Warehouse Associates to fill our Day Shift opening. The primary responsibilities of a Shipping/Warehouse Associate include receiving incoming shipments, verifying the contents of each package, and preparing outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and arranging for transportation.

• Operate HI-LO and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner
• Load and unload trucks and containers of product and material
• Maintain logs and requests with shipping/receiving information
• Able to read and understand HI-LO scale, count, and identify skids, and record appropriately
• Provide support to the warehouse and plant in relationship to the movement of product and material
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Must be 18 years of age
• Have 2-year HI-LO & warehouse experience
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Excellent attention to detail, timeliness, and organization
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasked environment
• RF scanner experience – preferred but not required
• Strong commitment to safety
• Must be able to bend, twist, climb, stand, sit, and lift items of up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to pass a background check, pre‑employment drug screen and physical

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1‑3 years previous experience in shipping/warehouse environment preferred
• Must be able to drive a Forklift and scissor lift
• Uniform, shoe/boot, and safety glasses program
